Prudential’s Financial Stability

To protect consumers, life insurance is heavily regulated by the federal government and each state government as well. Additionally, insurance companies rely on third-party assessment services to determine and confirm the financial stability of the company, which allows the company to publish unbiased financial ratings that are assigned and confirmed by the rating companies.

Life Insurance from Prudential

Like many other top-of-the-line life insurers, Prudential offers a comprehensive selection of life insurance products except for one conspicuous omission; Prudential does not offer Whole Life Insurance.

Term Life Insurance

Prudential certainly understands the popularity of term insurance, and they know that most individuals and families depend on some form of term coverage, whether used for mortgage protection, income replacement, or a legacy for heirs, Prudential gives you choices.

The Term Essential policy is considered basic term insurance with policy periods of 10, 15, 20, and 30 years. The premiums for Term Essential are guaranteed during the level premium, and the policy can be converted to a permanent policy offered by Prudential without having to have a medical exam.

The Term Elite policy offers policy periods of 10, 15, 20, and 30-year level periods. Premiums are fully guaranteed for the policy term. Term Elite comes with a conversion option that allows the policyholder to convert the term coverage to permanent coverage without requiring proof of insurability. If the insured elects to convert within the first 5 years, a premium credit will be applied to the permanent policy.

PruTerm One is an annually renewable term policy that is typically used to cover short-term expenses such as auto loans and personal loans.

Although all Prudential term policies include the Accelerated Death Benefit, which pays a portion of the death benefit to the insured if diagnosed with a terminal illness or confined to a nursing or hospice facility, they offer several other optional riders so that applicants can customize their insurance coverage to meet their specific needs.

Prudential’s Universal Life Insurance

Insurance shoppers who are looking for guaranteed life insurance coverage combined with a cash account that earns interest and will accumulate wealth over time should look to Prudential’s selection of Universal Life, Indexed Universal Life, Survivorship Universal Life, and Variable Universal Life products to meet circumstances that may be a little more complicated than a death benefit.

The PruLife® Universal Protector is designed to provide permanent life insurance while accumulating cash value that can be accessed when needed through policy loans or partial surrender.

PruLife® Universal Protector

The PruLife® Essential UL is a simplified universal life policy that offers affordable life insurance protection and potential cash value growth over time.

PruLife® Essential UL

Indexed Universal Life insurance provides a guaranteed death benefit but also can accumulate substantial cash value over time resulting from interest earned based on the performance of market indices. Indexed Universal Life is commonly used to create the wealth needed to generate a stream of income which can be tax-free when the cash value is accessed via policy loans. Prudential provides two selections for Indexed Universal Life.

PruLife® Founders Plus UL

PruLife® Index Advantage UL

Survivorship (also known as second-to-die) policies are commonly used by couples who want to insure two lives on one policy with the death benefit paid only after both insureds have passed away. This policy is commonly used to help heirs deal with estate and inheritance taxes.

PruLife® SUL Protector

PruLife® Survivorship Index UL

For consumers who are willing to take a little more risk in exchange for the potential of greater earnings, Prudential offers three Variable Universal Life products.

President at Intramark Insurance Services

In my 30+ years as an independent life and disability insurance broker, I have personally assisted thousands of clients with their life and disability insurance needs.

I believe that when people shop for insurance (or anything else, for that matter) on the Internet, they are looking for a simple, non-intrusive, non-pressure method of doing so.

I strive to treat my prospective clients with the utmost respect and I believe an educated prospect can make the right decision without sales pressure.

Being independent, I represent many highly-rated insurance companies and, because I am not beholden to any one insurance company, my focus is to find the right company and policy for each individual client.
